How I came to become a Celebrant

​

 

Well when it came to organising my special day with the now Mrs de Gee, we were pretty much set on getting married by my childhood priest. I was very optimistic, even though he had been retired for 5 years since he officiated my brother’s wedding. I thought 12 years of being the donations collector at church surely would have secured me a priest for my wedding… but I was out of luck! Now we had to find a celebrant that met the following criteria:

1. Male

2. Not 100 years old

3. Not boring

4. Available for our wedding day, which happened to be our 6 year anniversary.

 

So with this list in mind we began our Google search, “Young Fun Male Celebrant Brisbane”. We were in luck! Found an amazing celebrant who promised excellent and he sure did deliver excellence. Our only regret you may ask? Not booking our celebrant to also be our Reception MC! Nevertheless, it was an amazing day for the following reasons:

1. There was nothing to worry about, we were set for a stress-free, fun and memorable day.
    

2. I was equipped with everything I needed to be a killer groom, from the vows to the 'shake and take' technique.. don't worry I'll teach you!
    

3. Our Celebrant had an extremely high attention to detail, leaving no doubt in my mind we were getting an excellent ceremony.
    

4. Last but not least, the future wife was going to be very, VERY happy!
    

 

As your celebrant, I will be with you every step of the way till the big day, offering a service that is professional, fun and excellent.
